Caso is part of the Redes Natural Park, a space of great environmental value declared one of the World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2001. The great forest area is represented by beeches, chestnut trees, oaks, birch trees and others. This groove hosts very rare animals such as capercaillies, golden eagles, middle spotted woodpeckers, otters and brown bears.
In this area you can also find spots of cultural, historic and scientific interest, like Santa Cruz la Real Chapel (from XVI century) or the ethnographics museums of wood or beekeeping.
